من أشهر معالم مدينة فيينا السياحية هي تصاميم الفنان النمساوي Hundertwasser هذا الفنان التشكيلي حاول جاهداً ولمرات عديدة في الثمانينات لدى بلدية مدينة فيينا للحصول على رخصة بناء ليبني بيتاَ بتصميمه الخاص في المنطقة الثالثة من فيينا القريبة من مركز المدينة ، لكن البلدية كانت ترفض طلبه دائماً وتتهمه بالفنان المجنون ، لكن في النهاية تنازلت البلدية وسمحت له بذلك ، في يومنا هذا وصل عدد الزوار لتصاميم هذا الفنان الرائع الى أكثر من سبعين مليون زائر
